Pregnancy
I suppose having your child be born on an interesting date like 07/07/07 would be pretty cool. But I’ve heard stories (there’s even an article on AOL news) about people going to extreme efforts to make sure their baby is born on a date like 11/11/11. Not just the simple “keeping track of ovulation” and “prepare your body for Pregnancy” as an effort to get pregnant…but also people having the doctor induce the labor or the mother goes to great pain to try and induce herself by following suggestions on random articles like this:
And I also hear about people going to such extreme measures to make sure their baby falls into the proper time period for a specific “astrological sign.”
Hey, if it works out for her, great. But personally, I do think it’s a bit silly. Like I said, to have had a baby on 07/07/07 would have been kind of cool, but I don’t believe in superstitions like these enough to put the health of my baby at risk. But that’s just me.
What do you think?

Pregnancy
when i went to my first doctors appointment, they gave me a due date of nov 6th. then when they did the ultrasound, they went by her size and not my last period and changed her due date to nov 17th. when i went to my doctors appt when i was 28 weeks, they told me my belly was measuring 27 weeks. the doctor hasnt seemed concerned at all that i measure smaller because i am a small person myself(i am 5’0 and weighed 127 pre-Pregnancy) so is it possible that my baby could just be little like me and that i am actually still “due” nov 6th instead of the 17th? i am currently 30 weeks and i just feel like she wont last til the full 40 weeks. i guess 6 more weeks and my husband guesses 8. i know its just guesses but if my first due date was right(and that would put me at 32 weeks now instead of 30), that would put me at 38(if im right) or 40 weeks(if my husband is right). i also know the due date is an estimate too because unless i am induced, the doctor cant actually give me an exact date the baby will be born. but has anybody had their due date change and had the baby closer to the original due date? i hope this makes sense and all that “weeks” i put on here didnt confuse anybody lol

Pregnancy
okay so i know ive sort of asked this query currently but I want to see the response to this:
My baby is due on the 27th March 2010
I identified this out when i went for my ultrasound scan on 14th Sept 09 and they mentioned i was 12 wks and two days.
I slept with an individual else (not my boyfriend- we were separated at the time) on on the 18th Might 09, could it probably be his?
I cant realy feel wen my intervals had been which rely dusnt help.
If you take it that my conception date is 27th June 09 it functions out its my bf which is great, even so some men and women say a thing about the egg and sperm meeting 2 weeks ahead of the conception date, so in impact when your infant is ” weeks”/concieved, it is really already two weeks old if you see what i imply, is this correct? this would make the date 13th June, then how lengthy can sperm keep within you? could the other guys sperm (from 18th May possibly) have stayed in me three weeks?
cos if the ultrasound is wrong by a week or two it could be his, couldnt it? how accurate are ultrasounds neway?
SSSOOOO confused, please aid
I would like to know:
when docs can conception date- how genuine is this? by how numerous weeks diverse can it be?
how extended can sperm remain in you?
and by how a lot of weeks/days can ultrasounds be out?
Thank you extremely much for your time!! in advance!!
If so how long beofre that could sperm keep in your physique for? from the

Pregnancy
I’m a little confused. I just got an ultrasound today thinking I’m like 6-7 weeks pregnant but instead the doctor told me im only 3-4 weeks pregnant. I took a home Pregnancy test on June 30th so I had to atleast be a couple weeks pregnant for it to show up right? And today is July 6th so does that even make sense? I’m just a little confused about the conception date? I know it’s not really all that important but it would be nice to know. If anyone could guess what week it was it would really be helpful… I just cant seem to figure it out…
Oh yeah… doesnt the first two weeks of Pregnancy “not count” or something like that… like… your not really pregnant yet? I have NO idea… haha HELP

Pregnancy
Hi.
I broke up with my long term boyfriend in April.
If I remember correctly I had a normal period in the first week of May.
I dated another man in May and we had intercourse once around May 23-25.
On June 2, when I was expecting my period, I started bleeding and it lasted until June 7. Nothing seemed odd about it and I experienced what seemed to be normal flow. I had to use up to at least 15-18 tampons during this time and the blood was red. I assume it was my period.
I got back together with my boyfriend a few days after my period ended and we had intercourse several times from June 9 on.
I had my annual pelvic exam on June 30th. My doctor didn’t mention anything about being pregnant, just asked if my breasts felt tender and I said slightly but that they always do a few days before my period…which was to begin in a couple days.
I discovered I was pregnant at the beginning of July after my period was late a couple days.
My doctor gave me a due date of March 9, 2010 based on my LMP.
I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks and my doctor said the baby was measuring normal for 12 weeks.
I had another ultrasound at 17 weeks and based on this my due date was March 6, 2010 about the same as my LMP. At a 20 week and 1day ultrasound week ultrasound the due date based on ultrasound was still placed at March 6, 2010, so the baby measured 20 weeks and 4 days. 3 days older. My doctor is keeping my due date at March 9th, 2010.
My fundal height at 28 weeks was 27cm.
I have had no other bleeding at all since June 7.
Recently someone suggested I could get my period while pregnant or that it could have been implantation bleeding. It really freaks me out.
My questions:
Is there any possibility this baby could be from the man I had intercourse with on May 23-25?
Could it be possible I would have had to mistaken my period for some other type of bleeding?
At 12 weeks, could my doctor have possibly been mistaken and the fetus was actually around 3 weeks older? Wouldn’t there be a noticable difference in a 12 week old fetus and a 15 week old fetus?
Could the ultrasound measurements at 17 weeks be off by a few weeks?
I have 3 OB doctors in my clinic that have seen me since the start of the Pregnancy…what are the chances that none of them have caught by now on that the baby is 3 weeks “older” than it actually is? They would have noticed at 12 weeks, 17 weeks, or 20 weeks that there was a discrepancy of 3 weeks wouldn’t they?
Thank you.

Pregnancy
After my infant messured three weeks younger than the LMP estimate, they are saying I am 3 weeks much less pregnant. But all the Pregnancy tracking books say “chapter 17 weeks pregnant (fetal age -15) so I would look at 15 for fetal but it tells me I am 17 weeks pregnant.
My pal had invitro carried out and they also extra 2 weeks to her Pregnancy. Why doesn’t my doc recognize what I’m saying?
He was also shocked to hear the baby’s heartbeat so effectively. And at how significant my uterus was for “15 weeks” but that is fetal age, are not I actually 17 weeks pregnant?

Pregnancy
My very first daughter I was pregnant for virtually 43 weeks!!!
I am now 39 weeks and obtaining a lot of “symptoms” that labor is close, but it may just be wishful pondering, LOL!
Ladies, what are you private experiances?
Does any person know what the odds are I will be late once more?
I know that I will go soon, even if I last three more weeks it can’t possibly go longer than that, but I am obtaining so antsy! I am sooo ready for this to be more than… I may be in the home stretch but it is dragging out, the rest of the Pregnancy flew by and now I am going nuts!
Help me- how did your 1st Pregnancy relate to your second, third, and so forth.?
TIA!

Pregnancy
ok, im confused over this!!
when people are 16 weeks pregnant for example they say they are 4 months pregnant, but when i was 16 weeks i was still way more than 5 months off giving birth. also if you go by “4 weeks” as a month then technically you’re pregnant for 10 months!!
also, if you decide to date in “full” months, i.e. from one date to the next, i.e. the 18th of every month you are another “month” along, then do you date BACK from your due date, or FORWARD from your date of last period?
for example, im due 18th april but my Pregnancy is dated from 8th july, so on 8th of every month am i another month on, or 18th of every month??
i know my exact progress (im 17+5) but getting to stage where 18 weeks seems a bit silly to say to people when they ask you, i would prefer to say “4 and a half months” or whatever, but would like to be exact lol

Pregnancy

- Early Pregnancy detection strip
- Extra sensitive to HCG levels : 15mIU/ml
- Accuracy >99%
- Easy and Convenient: Do it yourself
- Eighteen Month Validity and individual strip wrapped in its own pouch
One Step HCG Urine Test is a rapid one step Pregnancy test, which you can easily carry out yourself. It detects the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin (“HCG”), which appears in urine very early during Pregnancy.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone, produced by the developing placenta shortly after the conception and secreted into the urine. The pregnancy test contains antibodies which specifically react with this hormone.
To use the test strip, simply fill a container with urine and dip the test strip in the container in a vertical position. Your results appear within five minutes. This test is capable of detecting human chorionic gonadotropin or hCG (a hormone present in women’s urine during pregnancy) at levels of just 15 mIU/ml/hCG. That means you can begin testing accurately as early as six to eight days after conception – well before your first missed period!
If you are fertility charting, and you know your ovulation date, you may begin testing as early as 7-10 DPO (days past ovulation) when the hCG level in urine will, on average, reach 15 mIU/ml. We recommend using a first-morning urine sample as this will contain the highest concentration of hCG.
